We here in the Greeneville City Schools Transportation Office believe the school bus is 
 an extension of the classroom and as such, the ride to school should be safe and 
efficient  in an atmosphere conducive to learning readiness.  Transportation is 
critical to the education process, and national statistics prove the school bus is the 
safest form of transportation.  Each year our fleet of 15 busses travel over 100,000 miles, 
transporting 1,100 students over 500 miles each day!  In order to route these busses in the most efficient
 way we utilize Versatrans, a state-of-the art software program. While utilizing powerful software and excellent 
equipment to insure the safest trip to and from school it is our drivers that make the difference.
