What is Family and Community Engagement (F.A.C.E.):
Family engagement is the shared responsibility of schools and the community to commit to reaching out to engage families in meaningful ways and in which families are committed to actively supporting their children’s learning and development. Effective family engagement values shared responsibility, teamwork and working across barriers that exist to support the student physically, socially, and academically.
