What is the Family Support Center?
The FSC is a support agency of the Greeneville City Schools
The Family Support Center recruits and networks community and volunteer service agencies to assist or provide services to students and families; develops and implements effective family involvement strategies and activities; works closely with families to ensure that needed services are identified and provided; and provides information for families about resources and support that includes but is not limited to education, targeted prevention, meeting basic needs, crisis intervention, and benefits available in the school system and/or community.
We “stand in the gap”- of any barrier that will prevent a child from achieving educational success --- building a bridge. Services and or assistance is not limited to, but may include: serving as a liaison between school and family; home visitation; school attendance and truancy; assisting with basic needs such as food, clothing, house hold supplies, school supplies; healthcare/vision/dental assistance; agency referrals; and providing opportunities for community and parent engagement through volunteering and learning sessions.
The Family Support Center is centrally located at the George Clem Building on Floral Street and provides services to all Greeneville City Schools.

Service Eligibility?
Students of or a family member of the Greeneville City School System.
Families/Students receiving services should attend the Greeneville City School System. However, we do not send anyone away that is in need of assistance. If we cannot assist the family/student, we connect them with other agencies and resources.

The Family Support Center maintains a second site which is located at 310 Tusculum Boulevard, Greeneville, TN 37745 (Greeneville High School).

How do I get to the Family Support Center?
Directions to Greeneville City Schools' George Clem Building @ 312 Floral Street:
From Knoxville:
From Interstate 40 East, take Interstate 81 North. Get off Interstate 81 at Exit # 23, and go right. This is highway 11E. Stay on Highway 11E for approximately 10 miles. As you near Greeneville, you will pass the Homestead Restaurant on the left. After passing the restaurant, you will go around a curve to the left. After this curve will be the first Greeneville exit. Take this exit. This is Business 11E. Immediately after taking the exit, you will see a red light. Go straight through this red light and up the hill toward town. As you go up the hill, you will pass the Greene County School's Central Office on the left. As you get to the crest of the hill, you will see a gray stone building on the right. Turn right onto Floral Street right past this building. The George Clem Building is located on the right.
From Johnson City:
Take 11-E Highway to Greeneville City limits. This is about 30 miles or about 30 minutes to Greeneville. Stay on 11-E (about 8 miles) until you come to State sign Morristown and Highway 70 turn right. Go to stop sign and turn left onto Summer Street. Go under the underpass. Immediately ahead you will see a set of traffic lights. Go straight through this red light and up the hill toward town. As you go up the hill, you will pass the Greene County School's Central Office on the left. As you get to the crest of the hill, you will see a gray stone building on the right. Turn right onto Floral Street right past this building. The George Clem Building is located on the right.
