GREENEVILLE, TN AUGUST 22, 2019– Greeneville Middle School (GMS) was selected by Microsoft as a 2019-2020 Microsoft Showcase School for their excellence in demonstrated student outcomes resulting from its commitment to educational transformation. Other Microsoft accolades for the school include being the only Microsoft Showcase School in Tennessee; plus, housing 4 of the only 14 Microsoft Educator Experts in Tennessee. The Microsoft Experts on staff are Andrea Tolley, Jason Shelton, Jeremy Simerly, and Janis Young.

We want to build partnerships with others so we can continue to equip our students with the 21st Century Skills they need for a successful life both inside and outside the classroom.”
As a Showcase School, Greeneville Middle School will work closely with Microsoft to lead innovation in education transformation and communicate an education transformation vision, enabled by technology, through our commitment to host and mentor other schools in the local community and around the globe.
