Kristen Rollins, Transportation Supervisor says, “I am excited to receive this grant to offset the cost of a new bus for the students of Greeneville City Schools while contributing to cleaner air in Greeneville.”
This is the second grant that the Transportation Department has received within the last six months. In November 2020, the school system was awarded a $10,000 grant to pay for seatbelts on a new bus.
Phillip Graham, Operations Supervisor says, “I am thrilled that the Transportation Department has been able to receive a total of $30,000 to contribute toward the cost of a new school bus. This is a huge benefit to the taxpayers of Greeneville.”
