Education Foundation Grant Initiatives
One of the primary goals of the GCS Education Foundation is to provide funding for innovative projects that reach beyond the scope of the school system's regular operating budget. The GCS Education Foundation launched the SEED (Supplying Essential Education Dollars) and Focus Grants in 2002 and 2009 respectively. Both programs are aimed at providing an opportunity for teachers to seek funding for their creative ideas and educational tools that will enhance the Greeneville City School system's standard curriculum.
